MTL Montreal Food is owned by partners chef Mathew Morazain and Bernie Mahapatra. The restaurant is open from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. serving both breakfast and lunch Monday to Friday and brunch on Saturday starting at 10 a.m. Chef Morazain calls his restaurant a classic scratch diner. Wine and craft beers are available and they have a lovely covered patio. All menu items are house-made from scratch. I attended a reception that was catered by chef Morazain and the food items were different, beautifully displayed and delicious. A few days later I attended another function that just happened to be at the restaurant and, like the catered event, was delicious. I had the buttermilk biscuits with breakfast and wow, they were tasty. A great alternative to toast. Call 778-484-3888 or www.mtlrealfood.com.
