Waste Connections of Canada - Okanagan is collecting bottles again this year to help local kids get a brand new bike and helmet.

District Sales Manager for the B.C. Interior Mathew Smith said the company does the annual bottle drive across the nation and has hosted it locally for the past seven years.

Smith estimates they91裸聊视频檝e provided a new bicycle to approximately 1,000 kids in the Okanagan.

All donations stay local and Smith said it really takes the whole community - the donations come from the public, Toys R Us provides the bikes, Waste Connections staff build the bikes, and the Salvation Army distributes them through the holidays.

Anyone interested in donating bottles can drop them off at Waste Connections in Kelowna at 190 Campion Street. For cash donations, people are asked to call their office and ask for Ashley.
