An abandoned cat is recovering from eye surgery after a South Okanagan woman found him wandering with a serious wound on his face.

The woman called AlleyCats Alliance and with the assistance of volunteers, the cat was taken into care and brought to Kelowna Veterinary Hospital for treatment.

Aptly named Pirate, the black and white feline actually had a tumour under his eyelid and unfortunately will need to have his whole eye removed.

He also had five teeth removed as he was suffering and badly needed dental work.

Pirate has been neutered as well and is recovering in Kelowna.

It91裸聊视频檚 unknown how long the five-year-old cat has been on his own, but AlleyCats is hoping once he is feeling better he will be easily socialized and ready for adoption.
