Hundreds of people looking for their first job or a career change attended the Kelowna Hiring and Post-Secondary Education expo on Thursday, Jan. 23.
The event took place at the Coast Capri Hotel from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., giving residents a chance to meet with a variety of different opportunities to try and get a sense of what they're interested in.
In total, there were 42 different companies and post-secondary school chances to learn about. A few companies in attendance included; BGC Okanagan, Westbank First Nation, Okanagan College, Interior Health, the cities of Kelowna and Penticton, and more.
