The walk started and finished at Metro Community on St. Paul Street

A few hundred Kelowna residents got together to raise money for those experiencing homelessness on Saturday, Feb. 22.

Metro Community hosted the annual Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser, which began around 5 p.m., just when rain started to fall in town.

Some members of the group walked two kilometres throughout downtown while other walked five km.

Going into the event, Metro Community was at 91 per cent of their $150,000 goal.
