Task force for new performing arts centre in Kelowna to be named by mayor

The individuals appointed to the Community Task Force on the Performing Arts will be unveiled at the next Kelowna council meeting

The formation of a task force was announced earlier this year.

The mayor said all the work done in the past by other groups and individuals will be respected as the task force does its work.

Kelowna91裸聊视频檚 Citizens for a New Performing Arts Centre (KCNPAC) has been asking the city to address the need for a new facility for years.

91裸聊视频淭hey have representation on the board,91裸聊视频 Dyas said. 91裸聊视频淲ith the amount of work they91裸聊视频檝e looked at doing, how important it is to them, there is no way I would advance this without their representation.91裸聊视频

In April, the city set aside $1 million for the feasibility, consultation and design of a new centre in its 10-Year Capital Plan.
