Teams were going after after the coveted United Way Community Cup in a competitive bus pull last weekend.

The community pulled together at the annual United Way Bus Pull last weekend as teams and sponsors raised $21,005 for United Way CSO91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s 2017 campaign.

Teams were going after after the coveted United Way Community Cup in a competitive bus pull that saw Great West Life 91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ“ Okanagan Wolf Pack win in the finals.

Honourable mention and other notable achievements go to:

Strongman Noah Normandale 91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ“ Top individual Fundraiser who blew spectators away when he pulled a 41,900 pound B.C. Transit bus by himself at the intermission show. Normandale raised $2,335.

Best Costume - Nature91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s Fare 91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵœHealthy Haulers91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ

Best Co-ed Team - Lake City Casinos

Most Enthusiasm - RBC

Other participating teams were BMO, United Way and UBCO Possibility Posse, TD Canada Trust, Interior Savings, and Fairfield Inn and Suites.
