North Okanagan Youth and Family Services Society (NOYFSS) is back in the pink.

The Vernon-based organization is bringing back its popular NOYFSS Goes Pink fundraising initiative.

On Wednesday, Feb. 28, NOYFSS staff will commemorate Pink Shirt Day by wearing pink and selling Compliment Cupcakes.

Pink Shirt Day is an initiative that raises awareness of bullying in schools, workplaces, homes, and online. It also raises funds to support programs and groups that foster healthy self-esteem in children and youth.

91裸聊视频淭his is a super fun initiative we started at NOYFSS many years ago,91裸聊视频� said Dean Francks, executive director. 91裸聊视频淲e haven91裸聊视频檛 had the opportunity to hold this event in its entirety since 2019, and needless to say we are excited to finally bring it back.91裸聊视频�

Each pink-frosted cupcake not only pays tribute to Pink Shirt Day, but every cupcake will also offer a compliment.

91裸聊视频淎nything we can do to spread kindness, especially on Pink Shirt Day is something the team at NOYFSS believes in,91裸聊视频� said Francks.

91裸聊视频淐omplimenting others is an easy way to build relationships, improve communication, motivate people, and boost self-esteem and self-confidence.91裸聊视频�

There are multiple ways for the business community and individuals to get involved:

91裸聊视频� Pre-Order Compliment Cupcakes for your staff or co-workers. Orders are made by donation and will be delivered to the business location on Feb. 28;

91裸聊视频� Make a bid on the exclusive professionally made cupcakes from local sponsors, including Gumtree Catering 91裸聊视频� more info on how to bid coming soon. Local bakeries and pastry shops are still welcome to donate their specialty cupcakes for the auction;

91裸聊视频� Buy a cupcake at NOYFSS (3100-32nd Ave.) on Feb. 28 from 12-2 p.m. A limited number of Compliment Cupcakes will be available by donation (cash, cheque or card are accepted).

91裸聊视频淎nd don91裸聊视频檛 forget to wear pink on Feb. 28 to show your support and stand up against bullying,91裸聊视频� said NOYFSS.

All cupcakes will be sold by donation with 100 per cent of funds raised going to support children and youth anti-bullying and self-esteem programs and groups at NOYFSS.
