Beck has been a valuable and respected volunteer at the Literary Society91裸聊视频檚 digital literacy program for over seven years.
91裸聊视频淗er service to our organization represents hundreds of volunteer hours, serving dozens of learners,91裸聊视频� said Wendy Aasen, outreach coordinator for the society. 91裸聊视频淭he digital program has grown and expanded to more workshops in part due to Beck91裸聊视频檚 work.91裸聊视频�
Beck helps learners connect with family and friends they wouldn91裸聊视频檛 otherwise be able to, reducing loneliness and isolation. She helps learners access the services and information they need to support their help.
91裸聊视频淓very week, Beck can be seen found patiently troubleshooting and guiding their learning with skill and kindness,91裸聊视频� added Aasen.
To go along with her work at the Literary Society, Beck also provides her expertise and leadership at:
- Emergency Support Services (since 2007)
- Volunteer management chair at the 2017 55+ Games and 2019 Special Olympics
- Vernon Performing Arts Centre (since 2018)
- Director of volunteer and participant services of 2022 B.C. Winter Games
- Volunteer xoordinator and sirector for Friends of Okanagan Rail Trail
- Halina Activity Centre
- Harwood block team captain (since 2001)
The CLA91裸聊视频檚 are a revived program started by the Vernon Morning Star, to recognize leaders in and around the community that have been working behind the scenes.
There were a number of submissions for 12 specific categories, which range from mentorship, coaching, volunteering and leadership.
