A home grown talent has leaped from Kelowna91裸聊视频檚 stage to the stage at Tisch School at NYU.
91裸聊视频婮ulia Chambers, who thespians will recognize from playing the roles of Sally Bowles in Cabaret, Esmeralda from the Hunchback of Notre Dame, Diana Barry from Westside Story from her time with the Kelowna Actors Studio.
It wasn91裸聊视频檛 until a talent show that Chambers took her first steps onto the stage.
91裸聊视频淚 was 10 years old and it was a school talent show. I was a really shy kid, but I always loved to sing. The talent show was my moment to just do it. I then discovered the reaction (of the audience) from that talent show and being on stage in front of people,91裸聊视频� said Chambers.

The musical theatre actress shed her shy exterior on stage to become the confident and soft spoken woman that she is today.
Chambers trained in musical theatre at the Kelowna Actors Studio for three years while completing her high school education at Kelowna Secondary School studying voice under Alexandra Babbel of Opera Kelowna.

They are such a supportive group of people91裸聊视频� It really becomes like a family. It91裸聊视频檚 such a special thing to be part of,91裸聊视频� Chambers said. 91裸聊视频淭hey pushed me to be the best I could possibly be.91裸聊视频�

After fundraising and working two jobs to save for tuition, Chambers now lives in Greenwich Village in New York City, attending 13 classes at Tisch this semester.
