We received 4 yesses on Canada91Ƶs Got Talent!! If we end up making it to the next round and then to the finale (May 14th), we will need Canada91Ƶs help to vote for us to win!
This is the first year the prize has ever been so high, noted a release from Rogers Communications, describing the amount as 91Ƶthe biggest cash prize in Canadian television history.91Ƶ
The hip hop and popping dance duo were previously on the 2022 season of America91Ƶs Got Talent, and were eliminated in the semifinals.
While Fryer and Rush are the only Islanders to make the final cut, they will be joined by fellow British Columbian Eshan Sobti, a vocalist from Mission, next Tuesday, May 7, at 8 p.m. on CityTV.
The duo received four yeses from the series91Ƶ judges Howie Mandel, Lilly Singh, Trish Stratus and Kardinal Offishall following their first appearance on the show April 2. Funkanometry91Ƶs choreographed and mostly synchronous routine started off to Lynyrd Skynyrd91Ƶs Sweet Home Alabama, but comically changed to Queen91Ƶs Don91Ƶt Stop Me Now.
91ƵYou are taking things from the old school, you91Ƶre taking things from the new school and you91Ƶre combining it,91Ƶ said Offishall during the April 2 broadcast. 91ƵYou guys are incredible and I loved it.91Ƶ
Next week91Ƶs episode can be caught on the CityTV channel, streamed on the app CityTV Plus, or on the website .
If the duo makes it through to the finals at the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino in Niagra Falls, Ont., airing May 14, they91Ƶll need fans to send in their votes to help them win the $1 million grand prize.
