A crash is slowing traffic on Highway 97 south of Vernon Saturday afternoon, June 15.
Photos sent to the Morning Star show traffic backed up southbound on the highway in the Crystal Waters area near the turn-off to Predator Ridge.
Traffic is reportedly moving slowly and sporadically southbound and there appears to be a single lane open both ways.
At least three police vehicles, two ambulances and two fire trucks were seen heading to the crash, which was called in shortly after 4 p.m.
It's unclear how many vehicles were involved.
The extent of any potential injuries suffered is unknown at this time.
