The lights are out for almost 4,000 residents ranging from Trepanier to Shingle Creek on Tuesday morning, June 18.
Two separate outages are caused by an object on the wires in the early morning, according to BC Hydro. They have a crew on scene but power isn't expected to be back until 11 a.m.
While the outage just misses Summerland, residents are without power in Prairie Valley and down to Shingle Creek. All of Peachland is without power.
