Local dancers will take the stage for a timeless family classic put on by audience favourite Ballet Jorgen next week.
The Vernon & District Performing Arts Centre Society (VDPAC) welcomes the return of Ballet Jorgen with their touring production of the beloved childhood tale of Sleeping Beauty Thursday, Feb. 6 at 7:30 p.m.
Among the ensemble of 22 dancers, 11 young, local dancers are given the opportunity to perform with the professional dance company. The dancers represent Okanagan Dance Studios, Okanagan School of Ballet, Shuswap Dance Centre and The Dance Gallery.
