Tributes are pouring in on a Facebook page dedicated to the memory of Katelyn "Compton" Escott who died in a BASE jumping accident at the Stawamus Chief in early December.
RCMP, Search and Rescue and paramedics attended the scene but the BASE jumper, who was later identified by friends and family as Escott, was found deceased.
A was launched to support her loved ones.
"She lived her life to the fullest and died doing what she loved in her favourite place on earth," the GoFundMe says.
The Facebook page has people sharing memories and photos of Escott. The memories include how she got her nickname, Compton, when people first met her and some of the adventures she went on.
The page also has information about a celebration of life being planned for Dec. 21.
