Boil water notice for Westbank neighbourhood

A cautionary boil water notice has been issued for an isolated section of the Westbank neighbourhood, within the Powers Creek Water Service Area, after a watermain break.

A media release from the City of West Kelowna states the Powers Creek Water Treatment Plant is working as it should. The break has been repaired and turbidity is present within the specified area91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s distribution system.

Information on boil water requirements is available on the . Residents can access drinking water from the bulk filling station at Shannon Lake and Asquith Roads at no charge.
