UPDATE: Coquihalla Highway northbound fully open after crash

The Coquihalla Highway northbound has reopened after a crash.

UPDATE 8:26 a.m.

The crash was cleared faster than expected as the highway's northbound lanes are now fully open. 

UPDATE 8:19 a.m.

One lane is now open northbound on the Coquihalla Highway. However, delays are still expected as it remains single-lane traffic in the area.

DriveBC's next update is set for 9:30 a.m.

The Coquihalla Highway is closed northbound on Thursday morning (Feb. 20) due to a crash.

While it's unknown at this time when the crash happened and how many vehicles are involved, the incident happened between exit 238 (Juliet Road) and exit 250 (Larson Hill), 24 km north of the Coquihalla Summit.

DriveBC stated the closure at 7:44 a.m. with their next update set for 8:15 a.m.

Traffic control is on scene.
