District of Peachland purchases Trepanier property for $1.5M

The District of Peachland has purchased this property at 5180 Trepanier Bench Road.

The District of Peachland has made what it calls a strategic land purchase in Trepanier.

It has bought property at 5180 Trepanier Bench Road for $1.5 million. BC Assessment91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s 2024 valuation of the property is $1.09 million. The 1.3-hectare property is at the north end of Lang Trail and next to Trepanier Bench Park. 

It includes a small house built in 1973, a barn, and a workshop. The property is accessible from Trepanier Bench Road and also has frontage on Dryden Road and offers a lake view.

A media release states the purchase adds a valuable asset to the district's land inventory. Staff will review community needs and gather public feedback. A recommendation for the property's future use will be presented to council after this process.
