Fender bender on Kelowna's Harvey Avenue causes slowdown to morning commute

A crash between two trucks on Tuesday morning, Aug. 13, caused a slowdown on Harvey Avenue northbound.

A fender bender between two trucks is caused a slow down to the morning commute on Tuesday, Aug. 13.

Around 6:40 a.m., a traffic control truck and a silver truck crashed in the left lane on Harvey Avenue northbound, just before Leathead Road.

The silver truck suffered damage to the bed but was able to drive away from the scene. The traffic control truck suffered significant damage to the front.

It appeared no one was injured at the scene but the drivers were checked by emergency services as a precaution.

Kelowna RCMP, the fire department, and the City of Kelowna also attended the scene. 

Traffic was down to one lane northbound but has since been cleared.
