Kelowna RCMP confirm pedestrian struck by vehicle is alive, in hospital

The pedestrian's injuries are undisclosed

RCMP and BC Highway Patrol were on scene for several hours.

Kelowna RCMP have confirmed the pedestrian struck on Thursday, Sept. 12 is still alive.

The pedestrian was struck in the intersection of Harvey Avenue and Burtch Road just after 12 p.m. and was transported to local hospital. They remain in hospital with undisclosed injuries.

RCMP and BC Highway Patrol had Burtch Road from Harvey Avenue to Sutherland Avenue shut down for several hours as they investigated the scene.
