More classroom space coming to Kelowna school: B.C. Government

An addition is coming to North Glenmore Elementary School.

The B.C. Government91裸聊视频檚 Ministry of Education and Child Care made the announcement on Wednesday morning (Nov. 29) that 120 seats in five new classrooms are being added and expected to be ready by the start of the 2024/25 school year.

91裸聊视频淲e are expanding schools to meet the needs of our growing communities,91裸聊视频 said Minister of Education and Child Care Rachna Singh. 91裸聊视频淲ith record population growth, our government will continue to invest in our schools as more cities like Kelowna welcome new students to their classrooms.91裸聊视频

This expansion can take place because of $7.5 million in funding. It will be a prefabricated addition that aligns with the province91裸聊视频檚 CleanBC targets and meet B.C.91裸聊视频檚 enhanced energy requirements.

Over the last six years, the provincial government has used around $177 million to create 2,220 new student seats in the Central Okanagan.
