The Outpost is intended to be used as a self-guided bird watching itinerary that accompanies the

On the Bird Trail App people can earn points and badges for spotting birds and check off locations as they explore the province.

The itinerary on Kelowna Outpost includes a map of the top bird watching spots, trails and restaurants and cafes that the city has to offer.

  • Johns Family Nature Conservancy Regional Park
  • Bertram Creek Regional Park

Kelowna Outpost also features an up-to date list of the most common birds to spot in the area, depending on the season.

There are now 12 different outpost locations across the province on B.C. Bird Trail, each featuring trails, places to eat and spots to bird watch.
