Normal construction noise hours return in Peachland

The district will continue to monitor weather conditions and will notify the public if a change is warranted.

With Environment Canada ending its heat warning, permitted construction work has returned to regular hours.

On July 17, the District of Peachland allowed local construction work to begin earlier due to the heat warning. 

As temperatures have now dropped regular work hours, as outlined in the district91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s Good Neighbour Bylaw, are reinstated.

Construction is permitted between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday and between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday and holidays.

The district will continue to monitor weather conditions and will notify the public if a change to work hours is warranted.
