The Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO) has won a prestigious marketing award.
More specifically, the RDCO's Economic Development Commission (COEDC) along with partners Accelerate Okanagan and Tourism Kelowna won the Economic Developers Association of Canada91裸聊视频檚 (EDAC) 2024 Marketing Canada Award in the Community Collaboration category for the OKGo Marketing Campaign.
The campaign was created to showcase local businesses in regards to their innovation, entrepreneurship, and infrastructure as well as highlight the Central Okanagan's business ecosystem.
Seven factors are targeted: Agriculture, manufacturing, viticulture, aerospace, digital technology, clean technology and post-secondary.

"Winning the EDAC Marketing Canada Award in the Community Collaboration category highlights our shared commitment to showcasing the Central Okanagan as a thriving ecosystem of innovation and investment opportunities."
The campaign used engaging multimedia stories to show the local businesses and entrepreneurs' strengths and opportunities, including events and investments. Those involved used not only print but digital strategies across Canada and in America's Pacific Northwest to showcase the competitiveness of the business and to gain audiences at the provincial, federal and international levels.
UBC Okanagan and Okanagan College also took part, showing the strengths of both schools.
