A lottery ticket recently bought in West Kelowna is worth nearly $100,000.

Purchased for the BCLC's Lotto max draw on Friday, Aug. 2, five tickets bought across the country matched six of seven numbers drawn, meaning the tickets are each worth $98,338.60.

The five tickets were bought in West Kelowna, Western Canada, and three in Ontario.
