A low number of FireSmart grant applications in the community had West Kelowna Mayor Gord Milsom asking questions at council91裸聊视频檚 Oct. 22 meeting.
Just nine homeowners have applied for the grant.

Fire Chief Jason Brolund noted it is FireSmart season right now and the department is pushing hard to complete home assessments.

Home assessments are a pre-requisite to receiving a grant which is funded by the province through the city.
