Lake Country RCMP continue to investigate two incidents that saw the same suspect arrested twice in just a matter of days.
The first arrest occurred on June 8, after a Lake Country RCMP officer conducted a traffic stop on a suspicious looking vehicle.
The officer found the truck had been reported stolen out of Alberta and repainted.
Two suspects were arrested for possession of stolen property and later released. Charges of possession of stolen property over $5,000 are to be recommended by Lake Country RCMP.
On June 10, an officer witnessed one of the previous suspects driving a rental vehicle while towing a large boat.
The officer stopped the suspect and determined the boat was also stolen out of Alberta.
The suspect was arrested again for the same offence and was subsequently released. Lake Country RCMP are expected to recommend another charge of possession of stolen property over $5,000.
Lake Country RCMP are working with Alberta RCMP to find any other links in crimes or suspects.
