With recent fresh snow, Telemark Nordic Club has opened its 2024-2025 season.
The season starts with a new addition to the club91裸聊视频檚 rental fleet with more than 350 pairs of Solomon skis and boots in various sizes. Rentals are available to anyone wishing to ski and will also be used to introduce over 2,000 students from Central Okanagan Public Schools to the sport through the club91裸聊视频檚 Ski S91裸聊视频橩ool program.
91裸聊视频淭he majority of our ski trails are now open, and we91裸聊视频檙e excited to see people out there using our new rental skis and boots, which we purchased over the summer,91裸聊视频 said Mike Edwards, general manager. 91裸聊视频淥ur snowshoe trails are also open for anyone who prefers walking in the woods instead of skiing, and as always, our sledding hill is ready for kids to enjoy after they ski.91裸聊视频
Memberships for the 2024-2025 season are available, providing all-season access to the club91裸聊视频檚 trails, discounts on events and programs, and invitations to exclusive gatherings.
On Dec. 21, the club will host a special event where skiers can join Santa on the trails. The Grinch is rumoured to make an appearance as well. The club is also offering free introductory icebreaker sessions, including a lesson and guided skiing, which are perfect for beginners or those who are new to the sport.
Telemark will host two major events on the biathlon and cross-country ski calendars. The 2025 Odlum Brown Biathlon BC U13 Championships, Feb. 8-9, and the 2025 Teck BC Championships for cross-country skiing, which will take place from Feb. 28 to March 2.
