Traffic changes for work on active transportation corridor in West Kelowna

Crews are completing work on Shannon Lake Road from the Kinsmen Park lower soccer field to Asquith Road

Paving work begins on Phase One of the Shannon Lake Road Active Transportation Corridor Project this week.

On Thursday, Aug. 15 and Friday, Aug. 16 crews are scheduled to complete work on Shannon Lake Road from the Kinsmen Park lower soccer field to Asquith Road. 

A single-lane alternating traffic pattern remains in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists can expect delays of up to 15 minutes. Pedestrian and emergency services access will be maintained.

The road will re-open to thru traffic for the weekend. Access will be maintained for the Bulk Water Station and to Asquith Road.
