As the calendar flips to March, the Kelowna Rockets are set to start the last month of the regular season on the road.
Coming off collecting three out of four points last weekend, the Rockets are in the Lower Mainland to take on the Vancouver Giants on Friday night at the Langley Events Centre. Going into the contest, the Rockets are 4-1 against Vancouver this season. Puck drop on Mar. 1 is at 7 p.m.
The following night, Kelowna will be across the border to take on the Tri-City Americans in Kennewick, Washington. Puck drop is at 6:05 p.m. at the Toyota Center.
Going into the weekend, the Rockets have 10 games left in the regular season and sit seventh in the WHL91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s Western Conference with a record of 26-28-3-1. They are just three points behind Vancouver (28-26-3-0). Tri-City is ninth in the conference with a record of 22-32-2-1.
The top eight teams in the Western Conference make the playoffs.
