The Okanagan Sun capped off a perfect season by winning the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL) National Semi-Final 28-14 over the Regina Thunder on Sunday, Oct. 27. 

The Sun got on the early in the first quarter as Jacob Bond took a hand off from Elelyon Noa, and found the end-zone for a 7-0 lead. The Thunder came back in the second quarter to tie the game 7-7. Okanagan's David Lewis picked off a Thunder pass and took the ball 74 yards for a 14-7 lead. Regina tied the game by the half.

Liam Attwood kicked two field goals in the third quarter, and a late fourth quarter 17-yard touchdown run from Noa sealed the 28-14 win. Noa finished with 83 yards on 18 carries and was Offensive Player of the Game with Bond named Defensive Player of the Game.

It was two years ago when the Sun went into Regina and beat the Thunder to for third Canadian Bowl.

The Sun went 10-0 during the BC Football Conference to earn a berth in the semi-final. They take on the St. Clair Saints in the 115th Canadian Bowl on Nov. 9 in Windsor. St.
