Firefighters are on scene at a reported blaze at Vernon's beloved Intermezzo Restaurant.
Vernon Fire Rescue crews arrived to smoke showing from the 34th Avenue building, which is connected to Centre Dry Cleaners and Total Pet.
Traffic is not permitted on 33rd Street, which is closed between 34th and 32nd avenues.
Smoke is no longer showing and several crews are on scene inside and out of the building and on the roof.
