Thunderstorms are on the way to the Okanagan.

Environment Canada issued a severe thunderstorm watch at 1:35 p.m. on Friday, July 7, stating 91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵœconditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ

The watch is for the entire Central Okanagan, as well as Vernon and Penticton.
