A Kelowna dog rescue society is warning pet owners after it claims at least two dogs were poisoned near the Myra Canyon Trestles.
While some earlier reports had said a dog had died as a result, they were fortunately wrong, but the warning is still an important one.
At least two dogs have allegedly become extremely sick and required veterinarian care.
, pet owners are being told to avoid the McCulloch and Myra Canyon trestles area as poisoned pieces of meat and treats were scattered throughout the trails.
As it stands, these are the only reports in the Kelowna area.

The Kelowna RCMP has not had a file opened on this situation, but they encourage anyone affected to inform the RCMP and the Kelowna SPCA immediately so an investigation can be conducted.
A sentiment echoed by Kelowna BCSPCA branch manager Sean Hogan.
91裸聊视频淲e91裸聊视频檙e definitely concerned if this in fact is happening. We don91裸聊视频檛 want animals hurt like that,91裸聊视频 said Hogan.

Hogan said the above incident was not reported to the SPCA, but they hope the owner might come forward and let them know.
91裸聊视频淚 have not been able to verify this yet, nothing has been reported to the BCPSCA cruelty reporting hotline yet,91裸聊视频 said Hogan. 91裸聊视频淏ut, anytime animals are being targeted like that it sends up alarm bells all over the place and by rights, I am glad someone is spreading the word as that is a popular hiking spot.91裸聊视频
