Salmon Arm's downtown rainbow crosswalk has been restored to its former brilliance.
The City of Salmon Arm closed the crosswalk at the Hudson Avenue and McLeod Street intersection (in front of the Salmon Arm Arts Centre) Friday morning, July 19, to repaint the crosswalk.
The painting was completed around 10 a.m. However, the intersection remains temporarily closed to traffic to allow the paint time to cure.
The city said the project would take about five hours, and flaggers remain on the scene.
