Downtown Kelowna will be taken over by some of the most impressive vintage and new vehicles you will ever see, as their owners will be participants in the 18th annual Boyd Autobody & Glass Father91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s Day Car Show.
The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free to spectators, and proceed donations will go to the Angel Awards in support of the Arthritis Society research on Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis.
This year the fundraising goal is $10,000.
Along with the cars, there will also be motorcycles and boats on display, and the Okanagan YMCA will also host a bouncy castle play station and face painting.
Live entertainment will be provided by Rumble 100, Jada McKenzie Moore (the First Angel Award winner) and many others, sponsored by Lordco Auto Parts.

Because of the car show, Kelowna city hall advises that the City Park parking lot will be closed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 19, to accommodate the event. Park visitors are advised that vehicles and vendors will be located in the grass area adjacent to the parking lot and surrounding the children91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s playground.
Traffic routes will be maintained in the downtown core as the participants make their way into the park with their vehicles; however, there will be lane and parking restrictions from 6 to 10 a.m. along Leon Avenue (north side), Water Street (east side), Lawrence Avenue (south side) and Abbott Street (west side). Motorists are advised to be aware of the increased traffic in the area and traffic control personnel will be on-site.
On-street parking along the west side of Abbott Street from Lawrence Avenue to Leon Avenue will be restricted from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Public parking will be available at the Library Plaza Parkade, located at 1360 Ellis St., and Chapman Parkade, located at 345 Lawrence Ave. Accessible parking will be available in City Park parking lot.
