A furry friend is safe thanks to the Okanagan Humane Society (OHS) and one good Samaritan in Kelowna.
A Kelowna resident heard the cries of a little kitten and found the small creature hiding under her truck, injured and struggling to walk. The good Samaritan rushed the kitten to a local vet clinic who then contacted the humane society.
The little guy has been named Sriracha and remains in the care of OHS. Attempts have been made to find the owners, however, no one has come forward and the kitten has no tattoo or microchip identification.
Sriracha had x-rays taken and it was discovered he had a fractured femur. Surgery was successful and the furry friend is on the road to recovery. Sriracha91裸聊视频檚 care is costing the society over $2,700.
Sriracha is estimated to be about 14 weeks old. The society describes him as curious, playful, and chatty.
OHS relies on support from the public to care for animals like Sriracha.
