A water quality advisory for the City of Kelowna91裸聊视频檚 water utility has been lifted

More good news on the water quality front as the Okanagan continues to get back to a sense of normalcy with flood waters receding.

The water quality advisory has been lifted for all City of Kelowna Water Utility customers. In consultation with the Interior Health Authority, drinking water from City Water utility intakes has been monitored, tested, and is consistently showing good results.

According to the city, it was the first time in 20 years a drinking water advisory was issued for the city water utility, one of five water providers operating in the city boundaries.

All businesses and public facilities on the City Water Utility can now remove water quality advisory notifications posted at all tap and sink locations.

The water quality advisory was originally issued on Friday, May 12 for all residents and businesses on the City of Kelowna Water Utility, after elevated turbidity levels were noted at City water intakes.

The City of Kelowna Water Utility serves approximately 60,000 customers from the Poplar Point, Eldorado and Cedar Creek Pump Stations, in addition to the Swick Road system which provides water to approximately 300 customers.
