Light Up marks start to Princeton91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s festive season

Nov. 29 event included plenty of winter fun

The holiday spirit showed itself in Princeton on Friday, Nov. 29 at the Princeton Christmas Tree Light Up.

The event, in Veterans Square, included holiday songs and highland dancers providing entertainment.

Local groups and organizations were involved, including, Matrix Youth Employment Team, Baptist & Horizon Church, Princeton Community Services, Family Services, Rodeo Club, Girl Guides, FireSmart, China Ridge Trails, Pickleball Association, United Way, Arts Council, Harm Reduction and the Princeton Fire Department.

Santa and Mrs. Claus, Peter Pine, Ember the FireSmart Fox and others could be seen at the event.

Stuff the Bus returned from B.C. Transit and Princeton Community Services, with donations to help the Princeton Christmas Hamper program.
