RCMP search for suspect who smashed Keremeos detachment window

RCMP are looking for help to ID a man captured on CCTV allegedly smashing a window of the Keremeos police station. (RCMP)

The Keremeos RCMP are looking for help from the public in identifying a man who smashed in a window at the local detachment.

The man was captured on CCTV at the Keremeos police station kicking in the window at the station, before leaving on foot.

The incident happened shortly before midnight on March 1.

The individual captured on camera is described by RCMP as being South Asian, between 30 to 35 years old, approximately six feet tall with a slight build and a beard, wearing a black jacket, blue pants and a white toque.

People who recognize the man are asked to call the Keremeos RCMP at 250-499-5511, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
