DriveBC is reporting slippery conditions on highways across the South Okanagan and Similkameen.
Highway 97, between Kaleden and Osoyoos, Highway 3 between Hedley and Osoyoos, and Highway 3A east of the Kaleden Junction were hit with warnings on Wednesday, Dec. 18.
As of 11:45 a.m., DriveBC has reported one vehicle incident in the region. The provincial road service said a crash on Highway 3A, between Green Mountain Road and Sheep Creek Road, had vehicles on single-lane alternating traffic at around 10 a.m.
The incident has since been cleared and it is unknown how many vehicles were involved.
There are currently no road condition warnings in Penticton or Summerland.
Environment Canada says there is no snow, but a 60 per cent of showers in the South Okanagan-Similkameen forecast for Wednesday.
Daytime temperatures are expected to stay steady at around 5 C, before dipping below zero overnight into Thursday, Dec. 19.
