Let it snow.
Environment Canada has snowfall warnings in place for five Okanagan highways on Tuesday, Jan. 16. The five highways are:
- Coquihalla Highway from Hope to Merritt;
- Coquihalla Highway from Merritt to Kamloops;
- Highway 3 from Hope to Princeton;
- Okanagan Connector from Merritt to West Kelowna;
- Trans-Canada Highway from Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass.
Starting Tuesday night and into Wednesday, Highway 3 is expecting 10-20 centimetres of snow while the other four stretches of highway are expecting 15-20 cm. Precipitation will become heavy on Wednesday morning and slow down in the afternoon.
