Original: A vehicle incident on Highway 1 between Revelstoke and Golden has closed the road.

The incident occurred before 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23. The closure spans from Highway 23 North in Revelstoke to 14th St. North in Golden.

DriveBC haven91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™t clarified whether an alternative route is available or will be made available. An update is expected at 2 p.m. to provide more details on the incident, but until then drivers headed east or west in the region should expect delays.
