Vehicle-related crime spikes at Manning Park

RCMP warn travellers to be vigilant

RCMP are urging visitors to Manning Park to not leave valuables in their vehicles, following a recent crime spike in the area. (MCC photo)

Princeton RCMP are warning local residents and travellers to be careful when visiting Manning Park.

Cpl. Kyle Richmond, acting commander of the local detachment, said there has been a spike in vehicle related crimes, pertaining mostly to cars parked in the day-visit lots.

Over the Canada Day weekend there were more than a dozen calls to police reporting vandalism, vehicle break-ins and thefts. 91裸聊视频淎nd the calls keep coming,91裸聊视频 he said.

Richmond called the incidents 91裸聊视频渃rimes of opportunity91裸聊视频 and have included theft from vehicles, vandalism and the theft of catalytic converters. He urged visitors to not leave valuables in their vehicles.
