A Vernon man has been charged in relation to the homicide of a Calgary man.
On April 3, Tsuut91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™ina Nation Fire Department responded to a grass fire in Rocky View County and while extinguishing the blaze human remains were discovered.
Alberta RCMP Major Crime Unit took over the investigation and identified the remains as belonging to 33-year-old Kyle Schuiling, a resident of Calgary.
Schuiling91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s death was being investigated as a homicide.
Then on Aug. 23, Alberta RCMP announced that 37-year-old Tyler Griffiths, of Vernon, had been charged with first-degree murder of Schuiling. After a Judicial Interim Release Hearing, Griffiths was placed in custody to appear in a Calgary Alberta Court on Aug. 29.
Christopher Stack, 39, a resident of Calgary, was also charged with the first-degree murder of Schuiling, back on May 3.
