BC Coroner's Service identifies man who died in Peachland rollover.

The BC Coroners Service identified West Kelowna resident Cory Lee Harasivich, 36, as the man who died this weekend when his SUV flipped on Highway 97, near Peachland.

"Harasivich was the driver and sole occupant of a Jeep Cherokee that was headed northbound on Highway 97 in West Kelowna about 1:30 a.m. on June 12," reads a press release from the Coroner's Office. " About 200 metres north of the intersection with Highway 97C, the vehicle hit an abutment and rolled several times."

Harasivich was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate his death.

In the meantime,

"We are raising money to hopefully be able to fund a beautiful funeral for a friend and father whom tragically passed away in an accident on June 11  in Peachland," reads the page.

"The young man in question just started a new job and was getting his life in order," the page reads. "His mom is devastated and is still going to work for she is unable to take time off for she is single and the only provider for her home.

"Cory left behind two beautiful children that any monies left over will go towards schooling and to help his mother deal with the costs of burying a child. Cory was the little guy, many people loved him and his kind heart.

"Please help make this tragedy less tragic and painful in dealing with all the costs, by donating what you can. A dollar can go a long way. Anything will help the family. The sooner we raise the funds the sooner a funeral will be."

As of Tuesday, June 14, nearly half of the $10,000 goal had been raised.
