A woman is potentially facing charges after being arrested behind the wheel of a reported stolen Honda Civic.

On March 26 at 5:41 p.m., an off duty RCMP officer spotted a suspicious vehicle, later confirmed to be reported stolen, on Frost Road near Gordon Road.

Several officers flooded the area and arrested four individuals occupying the stolen vehicle. The three passengers of the vehicle were released without charge. The vehicle, a grey Honda Civic, had been reported to the Kelowna RCMP as stolen on March 16 from an address on Lynrick Road.

The stolen vehicle was recovered by police in fair condition along with its ignition key.

The driver, a 23-year-old woman of no fixed address, faces potential charges of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and drive while prohibited. She was released from police custody on Court compelling documents. She is expected to appear in Court on June 6th, 2016.
