Although the days were hot, Summerland91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s downtown had a snowy, wintery appearance in early September as crews filmed a holiday movie.
A portion of Main Street was used as the scene for a street festival. Other filming locations included the Summerland municipal building on Henry Avenue and a portion of Dale Meadows Road.
The Hallmark movie, Our Holiday Story, starred Nikki DeLoach and Warren Christie. During the filming, the working title was Christmas Blend.
The story is about a couple who keep missing each other. It is a retelling, told to their daughter91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s boyfriend.
The movie premiered on the Hallmark Channel on Nov. 2, and has been available to stream as well.
Summerland has been the setting for other holiday movies in recent years, and has earlier been used as a location for other motion pictures.
