Jim Cotter and his Kelowna-Vernon rink has qualified page playoff at the 2016 Canadian Direct Insurance BC Men's Curling Championships.
Cotter improved to 4-0 at the 16-rink tournament with a 5-4 win over Michael Johnson on Thursday.
Johnson's loss put him in a four-way tie for second place with a 3-1 record with among others, Kelowna's Jeff Richard's rink.
Richard beat Wes Craig 6-3 in draw 6 of the event being held in Nelson.
The championships run until Sunday. The winner represents BC at the Brier, March 5 to 13 in Ottawa.
