The cyclocross season is coming to an end with two events back-to-back taking place at Kelowna91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s Knox Mountain.

According to the BC Interior Cyclocross website, 91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵœcyclocross races consist of many laps of a several-kilometre course featuring everything from pavement to trails to ankle-deep (and sometimes deeper) mud, with steep hills, staircases and barriers requiring riders to dismount, carry the bike over, around or through the obstacle, and remount to continue riding.91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ
Both events will be taking place at Kelowna91ÂãÁÄÊÓƵ™s Knox Mountain as men, women, and children 13 and older will be partaking in the event.
Because of the events and the volume of competitors, there will be parking restrictions at Knox Mountain this weekend. On both Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m. on Saturday to 5 p.m. the main parking lot beside the disc golf area, as well as parking along Knox Mountain Drive, between Broadway Avenue and the first access gate, will be closed. However, parking will be available along Broadway Avenue and Poplar Point Drive.
